¡Viva el vino! (Hurray for wine!) [ACTUALIZADO]

Yo es que ya no sé qué calificativo colocarles a los redactores del Marca, de verdad. Quizá lo que más les pegue es borrachos. Borrachuzos, beodos, empinadores, alcohólicos, bebidos, ajumados, achispados, encarinados, trompas, ebrios, enófilos, embriagados, alumbrados, azorrados. Lo que quiero decir es que cuando escriben algunos de sus artículos parece que tienen una buena borrachera, embriaguez, curda, jumera, turca, chispa, mona, pítima, papalina, tajada, merluza, tablón, tormenta, borrachez, ebriedad, cogorza, manta, melopea, filoxera, trúpita, llorona, chalina, sacramenta, moña o mordaga.


¿Cómo es posible afirmar que la llegada de Ten Cate como primer técnico al Chelsea vaya a significar el desembarco de Frank Rijkaard en el equipo londinense? ¿O sea, que Frank Rijkaard va a pasar de ser primer entrenador del Barça a ser segundo de Ten Cate en el Chelsea? ¿O es que Abramovic ficha a Ten Cate para primero de este año pero segundo del que viene? ¿Cómo va a aceptar eso Ten Cate? ¿A quién le cabe en la cabeza? Exacto: solo a un borracho.

Pero lo mejor no es eso. Lo mejor es que Marca nos cuenta que es el «Daily Mirror» inglés quien afirma que Rijkaard irá al Chelsea después de Ten Cate. Bueno, pues nada, aquí tenéis la noticia entera del Daily Mirror:

Martin Jol’s hopes of walking out on Spurs and straight into the Ajax hot-seat were destroyed last night as the Amsterdam club replaced Chelsea-bound Henk Ten Cate with their youth team coach.

Jol put out feelers for the Ajax job despite earning a stay of execution from White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy.

But while Ajax last night announced they were letting Ten Cate go to the Blues after a compensation payment of £650,000 was provisionally agreed, Jol is no longer wanted in Amsterdam.

Instead, youth team boss and former Holland winger Adrie Koster will take the helm until the end of the season when their former striker Marco van Basten becomes available.

Van Basten is expected to leave the Dutch national job at the end of Euro 2008 and Ajax are now prepared to wait rather than make an immediate move for Jol and give him an escape route from Spurs.

And while Jol has emerged as the likely first choice to replace van Basten – he has the significant backing of Dutch FA adviser Johan Cruyff – he would have to wait until July for that job to become available.

The news will be a blow for Jol, who knows the Spurs board are ready to ditch him if they can find a better replacement, with Sevilla’s Juande Ramos top of the White Hart Lane hit-list.

An unbeaten run of six games since the home defeat by Arsenal has headed off the crisis, even if four of those have been drawn and Spurs remain just one place out of the drop zone.

Ten Cate’s exit from Ajax was confirmed as the Dutch club revealed he had been given permission to talk to Chelsea about his «immediate transfer».

Ten Cate, though, could find himself in limbo after cutting his links with Ajax unless he accepts his place under Avram Grant at Stamford Bridge.

While Frank Rijkaard’s former No.2 at Barcelona has been talking up his £4m-a-year role, Chelsea are insistent that Grant remains firmly in control of first-team affairs.

Ten Cate has been told he will be joint No.2 with Steve Clarke under Grant and that there is no question of him having more seniority than the Scot.

Clarke, the only surviving member of Jose Mourinho’s backroom team, had seemed on his way out of Chelsea last week when Ten Cate received his initial approach.

But with the Chelsea dressing room firmly in his corner, it seems Clarke has been won round and is willing to stay, although Gary McAllister is now the first alternative.

No creo que haga falta saber mucho inglés para apreciar que la única vez que se menciona a Frank en toda la noticia es en la línea marcada en rojo, y que no dice más que «El anterior número 2 de Frank Rijkaard en el Barcelona…», refiriéndose a Ten Cate, claro está.

Repito: ¿cómo se puede pasar de este artículo a decir que Frank se va al Chelsea con Ten Cate? Exacto otra vez: bebiendo demasiado vino en el trabajo.

Lo que os decía. Ahora que se les ha pasado la curda de vino, se dan cuenta de la estupidez que han escrito y matizan que Ten Cate será el entrenador del Chelsea… y que Frank Rijkaard iría de manager general. ¿Cuánto tardarán en decir que Rijkaard se llevará consigo también a Ronaldinho?

Esta es la realidad periodística de este país: cuando el Barça empataba en Santander y en Pamplona, no había ningún problema, ni oferta, ni «jugada secreta» de Chelsea o Milan. Ahora que al Madrid da pena verlo jugar y que el juego del Barça enamora incluso a los que no quieren reconocerlo, empiezan a surgir rumores de que TOOODOS se quieren ir del club. Solo porque un segundo entrenador que trabajó en el Barça hace dos años y medio ha cambiado de equipo.
